Join us on the evening of Thursday 12 October for a series of in-person careers and commercial awareness workshops with Eversheds Sutherland, Mills & Reeve, Trowers & Hamlins and The University of Law.
The event, which is free and open to all students, takes place from 4pm to 7pm at The University of Law’s Birmingham campus in the Jewellery Quarter. Students will attend four workshops, each 30-minutes long, delivered by lawyers at the participating firms as well as a careers expert from ULaw. Midway through the event there is 40 minutes of networking with the firms’ trainees and graduate recruitment teams over drinks and snacks.
The workshop themes:
- Inside the Mills & Reeve’s Corporate and Commercial team (delivered by Rhian Vandrill, a partner at Mills & Reeve)
- Applications Masterclass (ULaw, delivered by Clare Stapleton, employability manager at ULaw Birmingham)
- Life as a Real Estate Lawyer (delivered by Simon Robinson, a partner at Trowers & Hamlins)
- Hot Topics in White Collar Crime and Fraud (delivered by Gemma Lynch, a senior associate at Eversheds Sutherland and Katie Fisher, a senior associate at Eversheds Sutherland)
