What does a world of difference look like?

With Slaughter and May

Apply to attend

Join us on the afternoon of Tuesday 16 September for a virtual student event with Slaughter and May.

Find out what a world of difference looks like at Slaughter and May, including an insight into the firm’s distinct differences, the people and its way of working.

You will hear from a partner, an associate and a trainee solicitor at Slaughter and May. The panel will discuss their personal career journeys to date, before giving advice to students hoping to follow a similar path. The panellists will also share insights on a range of topics including the firm’s multi-specialist approach and other distinct differences, inclusivity and employee networks, to provide an inside view of the firm’s working life and culture.

The speakers

• Lorna Nsoatabe, Competition partner and a committee member of the firm’s DIVERSE and GEN (Gender Equality) networks
• Charlotte Burgess, Financing associate and co-chair of the firm’s SoMo (social mobility) network
• Corey Hill, Trainee solicitor and part of PRISM (the firm’s LGBTQ+ network)

After short talks and a panel discussion there will be virtual networking with the speakers, Slaughter and May trainees and members of the firm’s early careers recruitment team.

Apply to attend above. You’ll be asked to submit two questions for the speakers.
