Join us on the afternoon of Monday 12 January for a virtual pupillage application masterclass in partnership with The University of Law (ULaw).
We’ll be hearing from barristers from three leading chambers who successfully made their way through the hyper-competitive selection process to secure pupillage. The panel — from leading sets Henderson, Keating and Landmark Chambers — will share their experiences and advice on how to navigate the process of securing pupillage, alongside a ULaw careers expert.
The speakers
• Isha Shakir, barrister at Henderson Chambers
• Mercy Milgo, barrister at Keating Chambers
• Nigel Booth, Bar Practice Course programme and student lead in Manchester
• Further speakers to be announced
Also on the agenda will be commercial awareness, with the speakers considering some of the key topical issues that future barristers should have on their radar.
The panel discussion will run from 4pm to 5pm, after which there will be virtual networking with the speakers, members of their chambers and pupillage committees, and ULaw campus ambassadors until 6pm.
Register to attend above. You’ll be asked to submit two questions for the panel.
