Join us on the afternoon of Friday 2 October for an in-person student event with CMS exploring the different routes into real estate law and what it takes to build a career in the firm’s real estate practice.

As one of CMS’s core practice areas, real estate offers lawyers the opportunity to work across a diverse range of clients, assets and transactions. This event will give students a behind-the-scenes look at life within the team and how a career can develop from the earliest stages through to senior leadership.

Steven Billingham, partner and head of the real estate London transactions team, Emma Halabi, senior associate, Charlotte Tucker, associate, and Ryan Kelly, solicitor apprentice, will share their individual routes into the profession, how their roles and responsibilities have evolved and the experiences that have shaped their careers so far.

With perspectives spanning solicitor apprentice to partner, the panel will explore the skills they have developed at different stages, the opportunities for progression within the practice and what they enjoy most about working in real estate at CMS.

After the panel discussion, there will be networking and refreshments with CMS UK lawyers, trainees and members of the firm’s emerging talent team.

Apply to attend above. You will be asked to submit two questions for the firm.
